Collapse-chan is an embodiment of the "collapsed" meme from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Reload. She is not to be confused with Collapsed-chan (by Crystal), who embodies the act of collapsing. Instead, Collapse-chan embodies the Persona writers themselves, who overuse characters collapsing as a means to drive plot progression, instead of a less jarring and more reasonable story beat. Although her premise is more meta than that of Collapsed-chan, she was created first. The original artist is Maddison Baek.
