VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
VA-11 Hall-A is an indie bartending simulator developed by SUKEBAN and published by Ysbryd Games on 2016-06-20.[1] The gameplay is chiefly composed of mixing drinks for characters as a bartender, with multiple endings available based on the choices the player makes. VA-11 Hall-A is commonly revered in LGBT communities because of its queer representation.[2]

Joe's Verdict
Joe enjoyed the game's setting and general design. However, there is a controversial character[3][4] in the game named Dorothy Haze, a robot who is a sex worker designed to look 10-12 years old and named after the titular character from Lolita.[5] Ultimately, Joe was deeply uncomfortable with this character and it tarnished his experience with the game overall. When he faced pushback in JADS over this, he said he was uncomfortable knowing how many members of his community were fine with the character.[6]
