Joe called the telescopes in Celeste skulls because he thought they looked like skulls. There are also collectible casette tapes in the game. So throughout Joe's 4th stream of Celeste, one person in chat called V0ID_CORE kept on saying "wanna see a skull? or a casette?" over and over again until Joe eventually noticed.^[1]
