Matt?
There's a part in Until Dawn where the character you're playing as is wondering around alone in a cave. Then she hears a creepy noise echoing in the distance, and she says "Matt?", which is the name of one of the other characters.[1] Now whenever Joe is wondering around in the dark in a game, he says "Matt?".
