Slay the Princess is an indie visual novel developed and published by Black Cat Games in October 2023.[1] The choice-based game features a number of routes and endings, all of which are fully voice acted.

Joe streamed Slay the Princess once.[2] During the stream, a voice actor for one of the main characters appeared in chat to discuss the game.
Joe's Verdict
Joe enjoyed the visual novel, but wondered if he "didn't fully understand it" because it felt like there were pieces that didn't fit in the time he spent playing. He liked the writing generally but felt it "wasn't using the medium as well as it could," with too much repetition when replaying different routes.[3]
