SHOU-chan, short for "The Spoiler Hunting Oracle of Umiden-chan", is the embodiment of using the discord channel #umi-full-den to avoid revealing story elements of [[Umineko When They Cry - Question Arcs|Umineko When They Cry]] when discussing it in [[Joseph Anderson Discord Server|JADS]]. In JADS, a channel is created for each game Joe plays, so fans of that game or the streams a have a dedicated place to discuss it. However, the general rule is that plot points ahead of Joe's current progress in the game must be spoiler tagged.

In #umineko-stream-chat, discussions about foreshadowing and plot points in Umineko ahead of Joe's progress in the story were extremely commonplace, leading to many walls of nothing but spoiler-marked text. Eventually, a second discord channel, #umi-full-den was created just so people who had completed all of Umineko could discuss it freely, and people who hadn't would not have to scroll past pages of spoiler text. When Joe took a break from reading Umineko, #umi-full-den was converted into #reading-den, for discussion of all books, and Umineko discussion outside of #umineko-stream-chat now has its own dedicated Discord server<ref>{{JADSCite|https://discordapp.com/channels/308515582817468420/1212803489470750770/1335587710022320214|message=Okay everyone!
