Trash-chan is what Joe called his custom character in Code Vein.[1] He made her to be the most ridiculous, awful-looking character he could possibly design, with help from his ex-wife Lili. The name Trash-chan was made up with the combined efforts of Joe and Twitch user toxelle.[2]
Trash-chan is technically not a chan according to the form neutral / theme neutral stance, since she is not themed around anything from a stream. However she was still nominated for the 2019 Chan of the Year Awards. Trash-chan is represented by the emote jphWaifu.
There was a set goal to be as ridiculous as possible but almost passable at the same time, and I think we nailed it.—Joseph Anderson
