In Zero Escape, there is a Character named Akane, who is the protagonist's childhood best friend and love interest. The protagonist's name is Junpei. Early on, Joe gave Junpei the nickname "Jumpy", [[Japanese Mispronunciations|due to the two words sounding similar]]. However, a bit later in the game, it was actually revealed that Jumpy is indeed a canon nickname by Akane. Every now and then, Akane would randomly give out some encyclopedic information that made her sound like she was reading directly off of a Joepedia page. An example being knowing the exact crystallization temperature of glycerin, and facts about a fairly obscure phase of ice known as Ice-IX<ref>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phases_of_ice#Known_phases</ref> (Ice-9 in-game).
