Weebs can't hear whispering

During the Persona 5 streams, Joe tried to warn someone in chat not to criticise the game or else the weebs would get angry with them. For some reason he warned them while whispering, and afterwards said that it's so that the weebs wouldn't be able to hear him, because they can't hear whispering.

There's a thing in Persona 5 where a speech gets read out when you reach rank 10 with any of the confidant characters. Before the incident when he said that weebs can't hear whispering, he had already started whispering these speeches along with the in-game voice which reads them out. So from that point on, people in chat kept pretending that they couldn't hear him when he whispered these parts. On one of them, rather than whispering it, Joe just didn't say anything. Then when someone in chat asked him why he wasn't saying anything, he said that he was whispering and that they just outed themself as a weeb.
