Voss voice

The main villain of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is called Voss, and he's a typical nazi bad guy archetype character with a German accent like in the Indiana Jones movies. Joe started doing an impression of him because of an inside joke involving Indiana Jones having to play Scrandle to get through the ancient ruins he was exploring, and Voss getting to the treasure first because he's better at Scrandle than him.
