"Ahoge" conflated with "ahegao"
"Ahoge" is a Japanese word which literally means "foolish hair", and refers to a single, long lock of hair sticking up from a character's head. "Ahegao" is a Japanese word which means an exaggerated facial expression which characters make when they orgasm.
There was some fanart made during the Danganronpa 2 streams which intentionally said "ahegao" instead of "ahoge".[1] This got Joe to Google the word ahegao. He may have already known what ahegao meant, or he may have learned what it meant when he Googled it. But either way, he then pretended that ahegao meant hungry.[2][3]
