Trolley-chan is the embodiment of a trolley from Half-Life 2 that Joe went to great lengths to take with him throughout the majority of the game in a grand saga that dominated his entire playthrough of it, and culminated in it stopping a train and absorbing its powers.[1] Because this was such a notable event and there were many active fan artists at the time, several different fan artists simultaneously created their own Trolley-chans with different designs. The most frequently-drawn Trolley-chans were originally drawn by PiggyWiggy, Luna Panda, an artist who wishes to go uncredited, Daxtear, and Marik Bentusi (in that order). Marik's rendition of Trolley-chan is involved in a convoluted series of events that link together several of his chans.
