Subscriber Cringe

Not long after Joe had started streaming, somebody subscribed to him and he said "Weclome to the dragon's den, here's a clawfist", in the style of Pewdiepie's "Welcome to the bro army, here's a brofist". But the joke stuck and he kept on saying it when people subscribed. He also started coming up with other phrases to say to new and returning subscribers, which he calls "the subscriber cringe". Two of the most prominent of these - "Welcome to the dragon's den" and "Welcome to the cringe café" - are used as the names of two of the channels on JADS: Dragon's Den and Cringe Café. And this is also why one of the three songs made by Kusoro that Joe commissioned for his streams is called "Now Entering: Dragon's Den". Several of the subscriber cringe phrases also appear on Joe's Twitch channel's offline screen artwork, The Cringe Kingdom Map. Joe doesn't really say his subscriber cringe anymore, but these are some of the lines he used to say a lot:

• Welcome to the sub-marine crew, get ready to take the plunge, splish splash

• Welcome to the rubba-dub sub club / Welcome to the wubba lubba sub club (like "wubba lubba dub dub" from Rick and Morty)

• Welcome to monkey town

• Welcome to pout patrol (Supposed to be like Paw Patrol, which is a kids cartoon that Joe's kids like, but combined with Chiaki's pout)

• Welcome to the one trip troop

• Welcome to the persona pals (From Persona 5)

• Welcome to the pickle jar (A reference to pickle Nagito)

• Welcome to the waifu warehouse

• Welcome welcome / Thank-you thank-you

• Thank you for tipping the scales (for when someone donates Twitch bits)
