Balatro
Balatro is a deck-building roguelike developed by Localthunk and published by Playstack on 02/19/2024.[1] Despite being a small indie game with a solo developer, the game received wide critical acclaim, eventually taking home five awards at The Game Awards 2024.[2] It sits at a 90 Metacritic score.[3]

Joe initially tried Balatro at the beginning of his restream of The Game Awards 2024, and enjoyed it so much that he continued to play it intermittently in the same streams as Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
