Princess Tutu

In April 2022, Joe learned of the existence of Anu's PT Trade Server, which is a Discord server run by JADS user Anu, where she gets people to watch the anime Princess Tutu in exchange for her watching or playing something of the other person's choice. After learning of this, people started telling Joe that he should do a PT trade with Anu, so he tried to play along with it while also avoiding having to do anything by saying "I'll watch Princess Tutu if you watch the Witcher 3 video", referring to the fact that he had been working on a critique of The Witcher 3 for a long time at that point but he hadn't finished it yet. He assumed that because his Witcher 3 video didn't exist yet, Anu wouldn't be able to watch it and therefore he wouldn't have to watch Princess Tutu. However, it turned out that Anu regularly queues up various different things she has to watch or play far in advance in order to get other people to watch Princess Tutu, so she accepted the deal and added Joe to her server. And to play along with the joke, Joe promised to eventually watch Princess Tutu one day.

This happened very breifly after Joe announced The Anime Marble Race, an event where viewers can compete for the chance to make him watch an anime, so it slightly undermined the impact of that considering someone was able to make Joe watch an anime of their choosing by other means.
