Star-chan is the embodiment of Joe's ship from Starfield. The original artist is SuckMyElbows.
While playing though Starfield, Joe encountered a number of glitches. One of them disabled his ability to fire weapons[1]. The glitch was fixed after Joe, at chat's suggestion, went into the character creator and changed his character's gender[2][3]. Later, when the his ship experienced a bizarre glitch that split the interior from the exterior[4], Joe joked that the ship might also need to transition[5], and later repainted it in the colors of the transgender flag[6]. Due to this, Star-chan is often drawn in the colors of the transgender flag.
