Shimano

There's a part of Yakuza 0's story where it's revealed that basically everything that had happened up until that point in one plotline was all a part of a plan set in motion by a character called Shimano. This is why Joe sometimes makes reference to Shimano with respect to similar plot twists in other games, or when he accidentally does something that makes him look like he had a clever plan. He also sometimes does his Shimano voice (which he made up and is not an impression of Shimano's actual voice, because he played Yakuza 0 with Japanese voices) and says something beginning with "I knew that…" when doing a Shimano bit.
