In Outer Wilds, Joe thought that he was supposed to be able to land on the Sun station, a spacecraft which quickly orbits the Sun at a low altitude, as an end-game challenge. Being the kind of person he is, he decided that he would do it in the early game instead.[1] However, you're not supposed to be able to land on the Sun station at all - the way you're supposed to get to it is to teleport to it from somewhere else.
A collective total of 2 hours and 20 minutes later across two separate streams and several separate continuous attempts, Joe finally gave up on trying to land on the Sun station.[2] During each attempt, people in chat said "This time for sure!".
At the start of the final stream of Outer Wilds, Joe opened the game, and took off from the Sun station.[3]
