=== Adhere to the categories ===
Read the descriptions of the six major categories on the homepage. In almost all cases a page needs to fall under one of these categories. Although some special pages fall under none of them (e.g. Monocoins), and some pages fall under more than one (e.g. some of the pages in the voices category are also in the stream memes category).
=== Don't use images without permission ===
Everything on this website needs to be at least CC A-SA 3.0 (see the footer of each page for information). This is why we can't use screenshots from streams anywhere, because that would include content from games. Try to use fan art as the images for the pages, and ask for permission from the artist first. (Note: I have blanket permission from {{Person|Marik Bentusi}}, {{Person|Maddison Baek}}, and {{Person|QwuTew}}).
=== Help out with missing info ===
(Still need to decide on a system for marking pages as incomplete)
=== Prioritize Using Official References ===
When possible, link to full YouTube VoDs on Joe's second channel, rather than individual highlight videos. If the VoD of the stream you need to reference isn't on his second channel, then find a re-upload of it from the stream index, from either another YouTube channel or from Nodjatube. This is so that it's easy for someone who's browsing the website to see as much of the context surrounding each reference as they want to, see which stream it's from, and maybe even watch the whole thing.

Finally, make sure to add the appropriate categories (like tags, but better). You can either use the horizontal lines menu to add them, or go into the source editor and type <code>`<nowiki>[[Category:Example]]</nowiki>`</code>. Some templates automatically add categories, but there's no issue being redundant.

If you're not sure how to migrate some particular feature, look at other similar pages for reference. If you're still confused, feel free to DM me (@frankcademy), xeph (@xephorix512), Latty (@lattyware), Retinas (@retinas), or mouse (@._mouse), as we've all migrated a bunch of pages already.
