A character in Ace Attorney 1 called Maya Fey regularly channels the spirit of her dead sister, Mia Fey, and transforms into her.[1] When this happened for the first time, Joe wondered out loud what the rules of this transformation were, and whether Maya had transformed into Mia, or if the two of them had fused. Then a Twitch user called Marik Bentusi said "Think Yu-Gi-Oh" in an attempt to help, in reference to how Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh transforms into an older version of himself. Joe saw this message, and said "I don't know enough about Yu-Gi-Oh. That doesn't help me."[2]
