Joe's community has a tradition of creating lots of fan art of his streams. This is because the profile picture for his YouTube and Twitch channels is an illustration of a dragon which was used on the cover of one of his books. Since he doesn't show his face in his streams, fan artists took inspiration from his profile picture when depicting him in fan art, and now it's become tradition to draw him as a dragon.

The one prevailing theme of all of Joe's streams is that he doesn't like anime, but his audience does. This dynamic originates from the very beginning of Joe's streaming career.
