This article contains spoilers for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. Proceed with caution.
In Danganronpa 1 there's a scene where a character called Kiyoko says to the protagonist "Mukuro Ikusaba… The sixteenth student, lying hidden somewhere in this school… The one they call the Ultimate Despair… Watch out for her."[1] After this happened in Joe's playthrough, he noticed that there kept on being unnecessary flashbacks to this scene.[2][3][4][5] Joe tends to reference this by saying "Watch out for it" or "The sixteenth (something), hiding somewhere in (somewhere)".
