Joe sometimes talks about how people in his home city of Moncton behave like NPCs in a video game, because they sometimes talk to him on the street about something random with no introduction. One of the anecdotes he recounted the first time he talked about this phenomenon - which is the most well-known and frequently-referenced one - was about how someone stopped him on the street and said "The new stadium down town's almost finished, huh?
