			== Joe's Verdict ==
			Joe overall enjoyed the game. He did not enjoy the combat much and felt there was little incentive to not engage in combat as resources are not very sparse, but noted he enjoyed it more than Alan Wake 1. He enjoyed the gameplay, exploration, puzzles, and visuals.

			Joe liked the quality of writing, the plot, and characterization, but felt the game was constrained by its link to the first game. An important character in the first game receives more in-depth characterization but felt like a completely different character to Joe as a result.

			He felt that the writing quality was in the 'top ten' tier of video game writing and not just "good for a video game, but good, period".

			Joe did not like the game's ending, though it didn't ruin the game for him. He felt they'd written themselves into a corner, and wrote themselves out too easily in a way that did not feel earned.
